A while ago I spoke at the Thinking Digital Conference in Gateshead on how the science of inner experience – those internal utterances, images, memories and feelings that make up much of our waking lives – can be harnessed to video game design. I mentioned my work on Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and my new startup, InnerScape, which is establishing new collaborations in video games and AI.
